What is all the fuss about in Tilba?

What is all the fuss about in Tilba?

Tilba has been a hive of activity recently with the filming of a television show and a world-renowned photographer using the stunning town and surroundings as centrepieces for their work.

The Lifestyle Channel program, Australian River Cottage has returned to Tilba to film the second series of the popular show. Paul West and his trusty companion Digger continue to explore the opportunities to live a self –sustainable existence off their farm at the base of Mount Gulaga. Paul’s passion for growing, sharing and cooking great food, showcases the amazing produce available in the area. When you visit Tilba, you too can taste the fresh and local produce from farm to plate at the local growers market in Central Tilba every Saturday morning.

Internationally recognised photographer Ken Duncan also visited recently and used Tilba as inspiration for a series of photos. Ken is well known for his landscape photography that is particularly good at capturing the essence of the Australian coastline and countryside. Ken couldn’t resist trying Mrs Jamieson’s homemade fudge and even decided to take a picture of "our Ken" behind the counter which you can see here and on his Facebook page.

Now it’s time for you to see what all the fuss is about. While Tilba is attracting international guests, for people from Sydney and Canberra, it makes the perfect place for a weekend escape or a longer stay and gives you a chance  to explore the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales. The Two Story Bed and Breakfast has 3 rooms available and is the perfect choice for accommodation and you never know, you may bump into someone famous when you visit Tilba.
